UNITED WAR VETERANS COUNCIL - 346 Broadway, Suite 808 - New York, NY 10013 -
(212) 693-1476A CALL FOR SUPPORT:
As part of the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War and a long overdue welcome home, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund and the History Channel are requesting your support to “Put a Face to a Name”. They will be kickingoff a multi-city tour in New York’s Times Square on October 11 with a goal to get as many photos of 58,272 service members lost in Vietnam as possible. The photos are to be displayed at “Virtual Wall” website and as part of an exhibit at the soon to be build Vietnam Education Center in Washington D.C.
Please review the attached information and do whatever you can to support this noble cause. If you cannot attend the October 11 photo collection please send your photos to us at the United War Veterans Council. Also keep in mind that this year’s Veterans Day Parade will honor all Vietnam Veterans in addition to all who have served and will also serve as an additional collection point for photos.
